Artist RFP: Bazaar After Dark Mural

***You will find the submission form link at the bottom of this page, please read before applying***

Bazaar After Dark (a program of Pulse Young Professionals Network and the Fox Cities Chamber of Commerce) is dedicated to revitalizing and drawing positive attention to underutilized business districts in the Fox Valley, while fostering community collaborations through art, music, and common experiences. Pulse Young Professionals Network is partnering with Habitat for Humanity to celebrate their ‘Rock the Block’ neighborhood builds in 2018. The public art component of the night market is a way of visually demonstrating our commitment to the renewal and growth of each neighborhood, in hopes that the community will join us in investing in its prosperity.

Artist eligibility

Any artist or small team of artists interested in creating a two dimensional mural, to be completed on Saturday, April 28, 2018, may submit a proposal in accordance with the guidelines provided below.

  • Complete a ‘live’ public mural for an outdoor environment that reflects the spirit of downtown Little Chute. Preparatory work can be done in advance, but finishing work will be done during the market as a live piece of performance art.
  • Engage the local artist community by encouraging proposals reflecting hopes and goals for their own neighborhoods.

The wall designated for this mural is located on the back side of Seth’s Coffee in downtown Little Chute, facing Grand Avenue. The space is approximately 17 x 17′.
